Fees and Process

We use an application process to select our new families for our kittens. Because we invest so much time and effort in raising our kittens, we want to make sure that the kitten and new family are the right fit for each other. Applications are reviewed and approved, as appropriate, and the applicant is placed on our wait list. There is no fee to be placed on this list.

Our kittens see our vet for the first time at 8 weeks of age. At that point they receive the first FVRCP vaccine. Once the kittens receive a clean bill of health at the 8 week visit we begin to offer the kittens to the applicants on our list. Kittens will see the vet again at 12 weeks of age and receive their second FVRCP vaccine and a microchip implant. Kittens will be ready to go to their new homes after the 12 week vet visit.  Kittens will be due for the third booster of the FVRCP vaccine at 16 weeks of age. We do not believe that a rabies vaccine is necessary for an indoor only kitten; however, some locations require it to be administered. We will leave that to the new family and their vet to make a decision on the best course of treatment in that regard. 

We do not ship our kittens; we want to meet the new parents in person at the time of pick-up. We do not offer in-person visits to those who are just looking to purchase a kitten but will, at our discretion, arrange for an appointment for a potential new family to see their kitten after a deposit has been placed and a contract signed.
